Millersville is a small area known for being a bit more affordable than nearby Severna Park. Families are attracted to the more reasonable home prices and stellar schools. The homes are largely from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

The Childs Residence is the centerpiece of the town. Also known as the George Miller Residence and the Millersville Store and Post Office, the historic house dates back to 1840 and was the home of Millersville’s namesake. The building served as a post office and community store for 130 years and currently houses the Anne Arundel County Trails program.
